Oh Magic 8 Ball ...

So I asked the magic 8 ball that is twitter and the answer was "Outlook good."

Rycke suggested we do an "essay contest/question of the month" type deal. Get your creative juices pumpin' and help us get some blood flow to the website or even on our fan page!

Rycke's Mission, if you choose to accept it:
A Eulogy

The Catch: Write it for your favorite living author.

While I did not feel the need to shed a single tear at the passing of ol' Wack-o Jack-o, I did feel a strange sort of sorrow for the guy...

He was ostracized, stared at like a circus freak, and the butt of every comedian's joke until those first shocked newscasts. Then he was the King of Pop once again, which will only do him some good if he can really pull off that Thriller thing. Don't know about you, but I'm a bit skeptical...

So we eulogize the living. It should be written in the past tense, and please keep in mind this is a eulogy, not a roast (we'll save that one for later!), so all due respect is required. While true sorrow can never be measured, we ask that you keep these under 500 words.

Please use the Story Submission Form to send in your Eulogy. Make the Story Title "Eulogy For _____________" and fill in the blank of course.

Accepted eulogies will be posted on the website.
