Mike Gibb grew up in South Carolina where the old family home had a rocking chair that rocked on its own. He frequented dilapidated colonial graveyards and even frolicked in a park where pirates were once hanged. He now lives in Ottawa, Canada, in the guise of a scary stay-at-home dad.

Harold 'Hal' Kempka is a former Marine, and Vietnam Veteran. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Celeste, and son Derek. Except for the exciting times they spend as a family, he is bored by all the warm weather and sunshine, the occasional earthquake (a good adrenaline starter), and all the crimes being committed (great story fodder). He is not bored, however, with barbeques, swimming, camping, and his writing. Hal is a member of the FlashXer flash fiction workshop.

Dark Mother, Dark Angel Spire and Blood Skeleton

Biography goes here.They say that a picture paints a thousand words, but what about the feelings and emotions it provokes?

My graveyard photography allows the viewer to ponder in thought at the wonders of deathly beauty we seldom see, while some find my dark portraits truly horrifying.

Constant feedback from viewers tells me that my photography is working its charm and I always love to receive feedback from my fans. It allows me to delve into their inner thoughts and this can be quite addictive.

Currently I love to capture silhouettes against dark brooding skies and take photographs that feature long foreboding shadows. This is developing into a common theme in my work, as I love the atmosphere and the thoughts I conjure up as in, 'what is actually out there'? The black subjects hide their true form and therefore the viewer is left wondering more about the scene.

I mostly write when the mood strikes me, but the ferret demands that I write at night.

My name is Lisa Sikorski, I'm a pharmacist by trade, artist and writer by heart. My B.S. in Pharmacy is from Midwestern University and my B.A. in English from University of St. Francis. I grew up in Chicago, IL, heavily influenced by the 80's goth scene, especially The Cure, and this is reflected in a lot of my artwork. I like to attempt to produce art that is attractive and yet also unsettling to some degree, hence the name of my blog, www.PigtailsandCombat Boots.com, where I write weekly reviews of cheesy sci-fi and horror b-movies.

Other than that background stuff, other things I enjoy are…comic books, watching SyFy (especially Stargate) and Chiller channels, catering to my alien dog Blitzen (a slightly psychotic American Eskimo), watching "Torchwood", wicca, metaphysical studies, all things goth, being sarcastic and pondering the sanity of the human race after 20+ years of working in retail. Oh, and I also performed the role of Janet weekly in a Rocky Horror Picture Show "shadow cast" for about a year when I was in college.

SCOTT H. URBAN is the moniker currently being used by an earthbound alien to operate as a public school administrator and free-lance writer. He lives, appropriately enough, in North Carolina's Cape Fear region.
